Supervisors talk snow

Weather was the talk of the Supervisors meeting this Monday. Predictions of sunny skies to mountains of fluffy cotton ball snow were thrown around. Using caution, the supervisors made the decision to close the county offices for Tuesday, Jan. 9. The engineer was on top of the weather, all of the equipment was being outfitted for the impending snowfall. The engineer also got a right-of-way agreement approved for F Avenue.

The Drainage Election canvass was set for Monday, Jan. 15, at 8:30 a.m.

The FY23 County audit was approved by the supervisors. A lien on a property at Union Grove Lake was approved for $210.

The Sheriff’s quarterly and annual report was approved by the supervisors as well. Claims totaling $199,255.56 were approved.
