The changing landscape of Tama-Toledo

In the last few weeks, Kwik Star has erected a new sign overlooking Highway 30. After the new location was opened in September, Kwik Star has become a draw from highway traffic with things only looking to advance further. PHOTO BY JONATHAN MEYER
Construction still continues on the property that is to become the new STC Middle School. At Monday's School board meeting, Superintendent John Cain commented on the progress of the project. Cain mentioned the gutting of the main building is around 70% complete. South Elm Street remains heavy with many construction vehicles working alongside the road. PHOTO BY JONATHAN MEYER

Ground was recently broken in a ceremony for the new WCF Financial bank. Located south of the Tama-Toledo Aquatic Center, the bank looks to join the community and add value wherever possible. PHOTO BY JONATHAN MEYER
