Two teens injured in Tama County crash

An 18-year-old driving a GMC Terrain lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason while heading westbound on Highway 30 in Tama County on Thursday morning.

Tremaine Orange of Tama entered the median, then exited the median which resulted in him striking the front end of a DOT vehicle.

The GMC rolled after the collision and ended up on its wheels, coming to a rest on one lane of Highway 30.

There was a 15-year-old in the car with Orange, and both were sent to the hospital for their injuries.
