County employees honored for service

On Monday, March 28 the Tama County Board of Supervisors presented the annual Years of Service Awards to 21 county employees that had reached milestone years over the past 12 months.

The awards included:

• 3 years: K9 Tyson

• 10 years: Sadie Weekley, 911; Timothy Dolezal, Roads; Joel Faircloth, Roads; Brett Konicek, Roads; Daniel Quigley, Sheriff; Brian Randall, Sheriff; Casey Schmidt, Sheriff; Sara Gilbert, Treasurer

• 15 years: Janine Anderson, Assessor; Patrick Ryan, Roads; Joseph Quandt, Sheriff

• 20 years: Joanne Husak, Economic Development; Dawn Jensen, Public Health; Marcia Sawdey, Recorder

• 25 years: Curtis Hilmer, Roads; Douglas Dolash, Roads

• 35 years: Christy Wilson, Roads

• 40 years: Brent Heeren, Attorney
