The halls are decked at local grocery stores for the annual Adopt-A-Family holiday gift program. Volunteer organizers recently put up trees at Fareway and Dollar Fresh in Toledo with tags that have suggestions for gift donations that connect to specific children and families in the South Tama community. The tags provide information such as the age and gender of the child as well as gift preferences they may need or enjoy. Those wishing to participate can stop into the local grocery stores to pick up a gift tag anytime from now until the Dec. 13 deadline. Donations can be dropped off to either the State Bank of Toledo, Medicap Pharmacy or State Farm Insurance.
