The Ridge Riders Saddle Club hosted the annual NBHA District 3 circuit event on October 9-10 at their arena on the south end of Toledo near Highway 30. Riders from all over an 18-county region traveled in to compete in barrel horse racing events.

The week before the local club announced the winners of their 2021 jackpot points series. Division winners were presented with a custom halter made by Kristi Roseland of Barrels n’ Beads. The 2021 series winners were:

1D – Kathy Roseland

2D – Hannah Grace

3D – Maggie Burgett

Shanin Sebetka of Traer.

4D – Danielle Kupka

The club runs jackpot barrel horse events at the Ridge Riders arena a couple times a month from May to September.
