Stoplight Festival moving indoors

The Toledo Stoplight Festival will be relocating entertainment indoors Friday evening with anticipated rain in the forecast. Live acts will perform at Bumblebee's Pizza across the street from the courthouse square.

Organizers for the Toledo Stoplight Festival announced Friday afternoon festival entertainment will be relocating indoors due to rain in the forecast Friday evening.

Bumblebee’s Pizza at 112 N Broadway St. in Toledo will host the live music acts originally scheduled to perform on the courthouse bandstand in Toledo.

Barefoot Becky Polka will play from 5:00 to 6:30 and Straight Up Seymours will follow with a set from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Bumblebee’s plan to open the former bar side building for stage area and seating as well as some pop up tents on the back patio to allow festivalgoers to sit outside and still enjoy the music.

“The Toledo Stoplight Festival was started to create fun and to foster community,” organizer Travis Mullen said. “We hope a little rain won’t keep friends, family and class reunions from gathering tonight.”

Bumblebee’s will have pizza for sale and Ward’s Tacos will be selling their Indian Taco menu across the street from Bumblebee’s.

Updates on the other entertainment and food vendors attendance at the Stoplight Festival is TBA.
