Tama County Jail Bookings and Arrests

June 15

Cody John Kelso,33, Grinnell was arrested at 1504 305th Street by Meskwaki Tribal Police on charges including keeping vehicle or premise for controlled substance, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, possession of controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of controlled substance. He was released June 16 on his own recognizance.

Charles Lynn Poafpybitty, 46, Toledo, was booked at 100 North Main Street by the Toledo Police Department for driving while barred. He was released June 20 on bond.

June 16

Ashley Elizabeth Lau, 32, Victor, was booked at the Iowa County Jail by the Tama Sheriff’s Department on multiple warrants for charges including first offense OWI, first offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released June 17 on her own recognizance.

Victor Ernest Hernandeez Moreno, 20, Marshalltown, was arrested at 711 Harding Street by the Tama Police Department on charges including domestic assault with bodily injury and interference with official acts. He was released June 17 on bond.

June 18

Athena Caitlyn Ione Padilla, 22, Toledo, was arrested at 100 block East Summit Street for charges including first offense OWI, driving under suspension, providing proof of financial liability, dark window or windshield and open container. She was released June 18 on her own recognizance.

Kevin Douglas Young, 60, Marshalltown, was booked at the Marshall County Jail by the Tama Sheriff’s Department for violation of probation.

Robert Eugene Schultz, 38, Waterloo, was booked at Black Hawk County Jail on a warrant.

Melanie Rae Bullard, 45, Tama, made an initial appearance for driving while the license was denied or revoked for OWI.

Gerardo Andrade Vargas, 61, Tama, was arrested in the 100 block of McClellan Street by the Tama Police Department on charges including second offense OWI, no valid drivers license and proof of financial liability.

A juvenile was arrested at 120 West Village Road b y Meskwaki Tribal Police for violation of conditional pretrial release.

Teri Lee McLaren, 65, Waterloo, was arrested at 422 2nd Street by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for violation of a no contact order.

June 19

Franciso Juavier Perdue, 24, Marshalltown, was arrested at Highway 30 and RedEarth by Meskwaki Tribal Police for driving while barred.

Osman L Padilla-Martinez, 38, Omaha was arrested at 1005 South County Road by the Toledo Police Department on charges including second offense OWI, speeding and no valid drivers license. He was released June 20 on bond.

Alexandria Ellen Hornung, 23, Cedar Rapids was arrested in the 1600 block State Street Highway 30 by Meskwaki Tribal Police for charges including first offense OWI and possession of a controlled substance.

James Alexander Seales, 53, Cedar Rapids, was arrested on Highway 30 T47 South by Meskwaki Tribal Police on charges including driving while barred, failure to carry registration card and provide proof of financial liability. He was released June 20 on his own recognizance.

June 20

Sopaul Chan So, 22, Tama, was arrested in the 100 block of East Third Street by the Tama Police Department for first offense OWI. He was released June 20 on his own recognizance.

A juvenile was arrested at 217 South Main Street by the Tama County Sheriff’s Department for charges including operating a vehicle without owner consent, driving while barred, violation of instruction permit and driving while license suspended.

Jesse Lee Mapes, 28, Toledo, was booked at the Tama County Jail by the Toledo Police Department on charges including first offense OWI and driving under suspension.

Eora Adriana Contreras, 25, Toledo, was arrested at 1015-104 South Prospect Drive by the Toledo Police Department on charges including possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Elynn L Martinez, 48, Tama, was arrested at 1015 S Prospect Drive by the Toledo Police Department on charges including third degree theft. She was released June 21 on her own recognizance.

Jesus Chirstiano Morales, 24, Marshalltown, was arrested in the 1400 block of 305th Street by Meskwaki Tribal Police for driving while barred.
