STC Middle School students spent the months of January and February collecting food items and money for the STC Food Pantry. A total of 900 pounds of food was donated February 17. Pictured is STC Principal, Ben Adams, Mary Mixdorf (volunteer at pantry) and 5th/6th grade School Counselor Blake Wedeking. Wedeking organized the donations as a way of teaching students the importance of giving back and community involvement.

Money was also collected and $825.15 was donated to the pantry.

Two classrooms in 6th grade were able to enjoy a pizza party as a result of their efforts.
