As of Wednesday afternoon, Dionysus Papakee has been found safe.

Meskwaki Nation Police Department updated their Facebook followers around 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon saying she was found safe.

MNPD originally posted to Facebook Tuesday at 9:44 a.m. that Papakee was believed to be safe but MNPD was seeking the public’s help to bring her home.

According to the Tuesday post Papakee, 15, was last seen February 12, 2020 on the Meskwaki Settlement. She has had contact with family sharing that she is safe but would disclose her location.

Papakee was found sometime between the original post on Tuesday and Wednesday’s update.

MNPD located her safely in Marshalltown.

MNPD thanked the public for their help in locating Papakee saying the 464 shares on the MNPD Facebook page helped bring her home.
