WCF Financial opens operation
TAMA, IOWA – Two well-respected local bankers have opened the doors to WCF Financial Bank in the Tama-Toledo market. Kelly Smith is WCF Financial Bank market president. Jenn Thiessen is local market mortgage loan processer. The bank branch is located at 2000 McClellan Street in Tama; the site known as the old Alliant Building.
“Jenn and I are focused on helping our customers achieve success. WCF Financial Bank is more than a place for checking accounts and to secure all kinds of loans,” said market president Smith. “WCF Financial Bank is going to be an active, supportive partner in our community and for each customer.”
WCF Financial Bank has been a bank in Webster City since 1934 and in Independence since 2014. In early August, the Iowa Division of Banking approved WCF Financial Bank to offer banking services to people and businesses in Tama County and the surrounding area.
“We saw a real need in the Tama-Toledo area for a new bank to offer financial solutions to farmers, businesses, and to individuals,” said WCF Financial Bank President & CEO Mike Segner. “In Kelly and in Jenn we have two hometown bankers who have long histories of making positive differences for people and businesses. We are all excited to open our doors in Tama-Toledo,” added Segner.
