The Wall That Heals, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., was scheduled to be at Meskwaki Settlement High School west of Tama on July 2-5, 2020. This event has been postponed and hopefully will be rescheduled for next year.

Like many other events, however, there is a lot one can experience on-line at www.vvmf.org where material on individual Vietnam veterans is continually added by family, friends and fellow veterans.

This on-line option is a good way to honor our local veterans and this Fourth of July holiday would be a great time to share a picture or memory about someone you remember.
