A Proclamation of the Cities of Tama, Toledo, and Montour, Iowa Supporting the

STC Senior Class of 2020

WHEREAS, STC High School Seniors make our public schools great; and

WHEREAS, teachers work to open students’ minds to ideas, knowledge and dreams; and

WHEREAS, STC Senior Class keeps Iowa values alive by laying the foundation for good citizenship and perseverance in a time of uncertainty due to COVID-19, and

WHEREAS, STC Senior Class will be our listeners, explorers, role models, motivators and mentors; and

WHEREAS, The South Tama Communities support and congratulate all the students who will continue to influence us long after this current crisis had ended and school days have become memories,

NOW, THEREFORE, be it known that we, Mayors of Tama, Toledo, and Montour, proclaim the month of May, to be STC Senior Class of 2020, in dedication to all the students who have worked hard to push forward to a future that will serve themselves, family, community, faith and our future together,

I do here by proclaim Monday, May 4, 2020, as

STC SENIOR CLASS OF 2020 MONTH

The City of Tama, Toledo, and Montour, Iowa urge that we observe this month by taking time to recognize and acknowledge the impact of all STC Seniors in our lives.
