Members of the Birthday Club practiced social distancing on Tuesday, March 31, to wish happy birthday to member Karna Smith (photo at right) at her residence in Tama. They circled her home with horns honking and she, of course, came outside to check on the noise only to be surprised at the greetings. The Birthday Club has been active for more than 50 years in Tama and Toledo and this was believed to likely be the first time well wishes were extended in this manner.
