Julie Shook, Tama Library Director, is announcing a new program that will assist the library. It is an “Adopt a Book” program. Julie will publish a list of books the library would like to add because they are best sellers, have been misplaced by patrons, or are books that will be popular with readers.

If you can help, check the books on Julie’s list. She will order that book at a discount; you will pay for the book; and you will be the first person to read it. When you finish, you will donate the book to the library. This will help the library compensate for budget cuts and allow Julie to continue to provide good books for all patrons.

The list of desired books will be available online as well as at the library, so you can visit the library or call – 484-4484. You will receive a receipt for the amount of your purchase which~tax deductible. Your participation in this program will be very much appreciated.
