South Tama Schools Superintendent Jared Smith announced at 9:40 p.m. Sunday South Tama Schools will be closed on Monday, March 16. The decision followed the recommendation issued about 8:30 p.m. by Governor Reynolds for Iowa schools to close for 30 days in reaction to the Corona virus. Supt. Smith said administrators will meet Monday to decide the course South Tama schools will take.

Meskwaki Settlement schools are scheduled to be on spring break March 16-20.
