Jan. 15

3 p.m.- Michael Francis Watson, 59, Ames, arrested at the Story County Jail, Nevada, on a warrant for violation of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Sentenced and released on Jan 23 at 11:50 a.m.

3:30 p.m.- DeWayne Michael Veverka, 48, Grinnell, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of violation of a no contact protective order by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on Jan. 16 at 8:40 a.m. on unsecured bond.

7:31 p.m.- Richard Emery Brandan, 52, Marshalltown, arrested in the 1300 block of Thomas Drive, on charges of child endangerment- no injury, domestic abuse assault with injury and assault causing bodily injury by Tama Police. Released on Jan. 16 ay 8:45 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Juvenile arrested at U.S. Highway 30 and I Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was provided in the Arrest Press Log.

Jan. 16

2:36 p.m.- Colton John Kroeger, 19, Tama, arrested in the 2800 block of U.s. Highway 63, rural Toledo, on a charge of driving while license denied or revoked by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 4:30 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

5:30 p.m.- Luis Felipe Ordaz-Ochoa, 26, Tama, arrested in the 100 block of North Main, Toledo, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

5:30 p.m.- Jagger Cain Purk, 26, Tama, arrested in the 100 block of North Main, Toledo, on a warrant for violation of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Jan. 17

3:54 p.m.- Carrie Frances Clauson, 59, Marion, arrested in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 30, Tama, on a charge of 1st offense drunken driving by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on Jan. 21 at 3:36 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Jan. 18

2:57 p.m.- Domonique Cortell Turner Sr., 29, Waterloo, arrested in the 700 block of South County Road on a warrant for failure to appear by Toledo Police. Transferred on Jan. 19 at 4:33 p.m.

Juvenile arrested on three warrants by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was provided in the Arrest Press Log.

Jan. 19

1:05 p.m.- Aiden Hunter Kapayou, 24, rural Tama, arrested at the Webster County Jail, Ft. Dodge, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 23 at 1:10 p.m. after serving time.
