Bruce Muecke, Toledo, receives a standing ovation just before receiving the 2nd annual Trojan Way Award at the South Tama High and Middle schools Veterans Day program on Friday, Nov. 8. Muecke. a U.S. Navy veteran. was honored for his military service and work with the Toledo American Legion in taking part in the Post including funeral honor guard and flag displays. Presented by STC senior Abby Sandvick, the award reads “We thank you and honor your service to our country and community. You exemplify the character traits and values in the Trojan Way.”
