Tama County Public Health and Home Care will be hosting a Senior Expo in Traer at the Traer Memorial Building on Nov. 14 and in Toledo at the Reinig Center on Nov.15. The event will be from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Local businesses will be providing information regarding what services they have to offer Senior citizens. Tama County Public Health and Home Care nursing staff will be offering free blood pressure checks.

Businesses participating include: Sunrise Hill Care Center, Willows of Marshalltown, Meskwaki Senior Services, Region 6 Peoplerides, Westbrook Acres, Kruse-Phillips, Hy-Vee Pharmacy, Sunnycrest Nursing Center, Cedar Valley Hospice, Premier Estates, Gladbrook Bowl, NEI3A, Farmer’s Savings Bank and Trust, Veteran’s Affairs, Traer Activity Center, ISU Extension Office, Independent Insurance and Tama County Public Health and Home Care.
