12:50 p.m.- Kelsey Lynn Pothoven, 27, Grinnell, arrested at Tama County Road E49 . North County Highway on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Oct. 1

11:57 a.m.- Shayanne Lace Frazier, 18, Marshalltown, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Sentenced and released on Oct. 10 at 2:20 p.m.

1 p.m.- Nathan Wayne Jones, 38, Marshalltown, arrested at the Hardin County Jail, Eldora, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Oct. 2

3:10 p.m.- Richard Lee Shogren, 34, Marshalltown, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on a warrant for violation of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Oct. 10 at 11:20 a.m. after serving time.

Juvenile arrested in the 200 block of West 9th Street on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of prescription drug and two counts of possession of controlled substances by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was provided in the Arrest Press Log.

8:36 p.m.- Charles David McGuire, 65, rural Garwin, arrested in the 2700 block of C Avenue, rural Garwin, on a charge of 1st offense drunken driving and two counts of intimidation with a dangerous weapon by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Oct. 4 at 6:05 p.m. on surety bond.

Oct. 3

4:44 p.m.- Sharissa Sue Zigler, 39, Tama, arrested in the 1000 block of McClellan on charges of assault causing bodily injury, interference with official acts – bodily injury and two counts of child endangerment- no injury by Tama Police. Released on Oct. 4 at 9:54 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

Oct. 4

11:09 a.m.- Isidro Castillo Garcia, 55, Tama, arrested at Business Highway 30 and U.S. Highway 6, Toledo, on charges of driving under suspension, fail to obey stop / yield sign and driving while license suspended by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 1:35 pm.. on surety bond.

2:40 p.m.- Elizabeth Ann Soard, 40, Dysart, arrested in the 500 block of Iowa Highway 21 on a charge of 5th degree theft and on a warrant by Dysart Police.

3 p.m.- Aaron Francis Borden, 33, Clear Lake, Iowa, charged with 1st degree harassment and interference with official acts- bodily injury by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Oct. 6

8:29 a.m.- Benjamin Lloyds Wright III. 40, Cedar Rapids, arrested on Tama County Road V18, Chelsea, on charges of possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Oct. 7 at 1:40 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

11:19 p.m.- Kayla Angel Devenney, 22, Elberon, arrested at Business Highway 30 and East 5th Street on charges of 1st offense drunken driving and child endangerment by Tama Police. Released on Oct. 7 at 11:30 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.
