Anne Michael speaks as family, friends and the late Rose?Fowler’s fellow Oak Hill Cemetery Association members gathered at the Tama Civic Center Sunday afternoon, Sept. 29, to pay tribute to Rose’s dedication to the community. Fowler was remembered as a faithful member of the Cemetery Association with her gift totaling $60,000 enabling the repaving of the roadways in the cemetery which were described as badly in need of repair.
