7:49 p.m.- Mersaydes Carelyn Hemesath, 28, DeWitt, Iowa, arrested in the 2000 block of State Highway 30 on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driver with open container of alcohol by Toledo Police. Released on Aug. 31 at 11:17 a.m.

3:20 a.m.- Shawn Jeffrey Dugan, 23, Grundy Center, arrested in the 1100 block of Tama County Road T47, Gladbrook, on charges of 1st offense drunken driving and failure to maintain control of vehicle by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 2:55 p.m. on personal recognizance bond.

2:36 a.m.- Scott Christopher Kirk, 35, Van Horne, Iowa, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance and contraband / weapon in a correctional facility by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Placed on pre-trial release at 11 a.m.

10:46 a.m.- Justin Scott Zitzow, 22, Marshalltown, arrested at the Marshall County Jail, rural Marshalltown, on two warrants cited at 300th Street and H Avenue, rural Toledo on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Sept. 2 at 10:55 a.m. after pleading guilty.
