2018 Grinnell Reginoal Foundation Donor Journal points to benefits
Know how much you matter to this world. This promise speaks to more than just the patients and families we serve every day. It speaks to our incredible donors. The power of philanthropy is extraordinary, and your support of the UnityPoint Health Grinnell Regional Medical Center Foundation in 2018 had an enormous impact on the level of care we provided our patients and families.
The GRMC Foundation Donor Journal highlights advancements in patient care and other services made possible by your generosity. 846 donors came together – united in a common goal of helping patients and families – and made a huge difference in our community. Here are a few ways your contributions helped programs and services at UnityPoint Health Grinnell Regional Medical Center (GRMC) in 2018:
In February, GRMC opened the new Brownell Family Emergency Center.
$14,000 was awarded in financial assistance to seven GRMC employees pursuing additional education at an accredited nursing school.
$25,000 donation from a local business aided in physician recruitment.
“Health care services and patient expectations are continually changing, and philanthropy is a significant element in allowing GRMC to meet the challenges that come with such changes,” says Dennis Day, GRMC Foundation Board chair. “The 2018 Donor Journal helps illustrate how donors made a difference in the quality of health care provided to patients in GRMC’s service area.”
The Foundation is proud to say 100% of gifts benefit the programs and services you choose to support. GRMC would not be what it is today without the generosity and compassion of people like you. Thank you.
