The Toledo Public Library hosted the last Bake Lab of the summer where Snickerdoodle cookies were mixed up and baked by these participants.

The girls learned the importance of reading through a recipe and instructions before beginning to bake. The group also read over the list of required ingredients and measuring utensils to make sure everything was accounted for and close by.

Each participant measured their own ingredients, cracked their egg, mixed up their dough, rolled out their cookies and packaged them up. The girls also helped with clean up and doing the dishes; as that is part of baking.

All of the girls agreed that baking can be lots of fun and the end result is better yet. If you happened to be in the library that day, your nose was treated to an amazing aroma as the smells flooded the entire library.
