“Our Aging Active and Alive Walk” at the Toledo City Park

A big crowd was on hand Friday morning, May 31, for the annual “Our Aging Active and Alive Walk” at the Toledo City Park sponsored by Northeast Iowa area Agency on Aging and organized here by Deb Peska, Tama County Service Coordinator. Walkers who circled the park up to three times covered a mile distance. The walk is part of the Iowa Healthiest State effort.
Two of the walkers taking part in the May 31 “Our Aging Active and Alive Walk” were Margaret Lyon and the Rev. LaVern Seth. Rev. Seth observed his 100th birthday in November, 2018.
