D-Day observance set at Tama Legion
The Tama American Legion (1105 E. 5th Street) will mark the 75th anniversary of the June 6, 1944 Allied invasion of Nazi occupied France with an evening of educational presentations. “Seize and Secure: The Battle for La Fiere” from Iowa Public Television viewing starts at 5 p.m.
