DES MOINES (readMedia)- If a picture is worth a thousand words, the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation believes a volunteer photograph must be worth a thousand hours! The Blue Ribbon Foundation has our camera ready for a volunteer photoshoot this summer during the Iowa State Fair.

Your help is needed in finding Iowans from across the state that go above and beyond to make their communities a picture- perfect place to live. With the support of Cookies Food Products, the Blue Ribbon Foundation’s Iowan of the Day award will recognize 10 outstanding volunteers during the Iowa State Fair, August 8-18.

All nominees must currently reside in Iowa.
