Eat Well- Stay Independent at Tama Senior Center

Learn about the health benefits of eating well and moving more; sample healthy, tasty, low-cost recipes and exchange ideas to help meet your health goals by attending Stay Independent, a nutrition and wellness program from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.

This four week series promoting information and tips to help you remain healthy and independent is being presented in partnership with the NE Iowa Area Agency on Aging at the Tama Senior Center, 905 E. 5th St. in Tama, beginning April 4.

Each session begins at 12:30 p.m. and will last about 45 minutes.

Sessions include “Three Meals a Day” on April 4, “Feast on Fruits and Vegetables” on April 11, “Power up with Protein” on April 18, and “Exercise your Independence ” on April 25.
