The South Tama School Board approved a 2.17 percent pay hike for the 2019-20 year for certified staff during a special session Monday night, March 4. The raise was the last in a three-year contract which has been in place.

The cost to the district is projected to be $174,484 over the one year pay period according ot Mary Boege South Tama business manager.

South Tama has 127 certified employees (teachers) and an additional 148 support and other staff including full and part-time.
