Tama County Community Foundation applications deadline is Jan. 15

Grant applications can now be submitted to the Tama County Community Foundation. The deadline to submit applications is midnight 11:59 p.m. January 15, 2019. Grants are awarded to projects in the following areas: art and culture, community betterment, education, environment, health, historic preservation and human service.

The online grant application may be found on the Community Foundation’s website at: www.tamaccf.org.

The Tama County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, will be hosting two grant writing workshops on Thursday, November 15.

The first grant writing workshop will be from 5:00 – 6:15 p.m. at the Toledo Public Library, Vision Meeting Room, 206 E High Street, Toledo, Iowa. The second workshop will take place at 7:15 – 8:30 p.m. at the Norma Anders Public Library, Learning Center 320 Main Street, Dysart, Iowa.

The workshops are open to anyone who wishes to learn more about TCCF grant opportunities.

Workshop attendees will hear from Dotti Thompson, Program Manager for the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa. Thompson will lead a step-by-step training of the entire grant process and provide grant writing tips. She will also discuss important changes to the grant guidelines and application.
