The Tama County Historical Society and Genealogical Library will hold a special Veterans Day Open House on Sunday, November 11, from 4-6 p.m. to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

The open house will feature WWI-era photos, newspaper headlines, and artwork related to Tama County in the Great War. Special refreshments will include snacks made with WWI-era recipes. The museum will also be open for patrons to browse all of the collections, including the items connected to WWI.
