The public is invited to hear guest speaker Jacob Floris talk on the opioid epidemic in America.

The meeting, sponsored by the Meskwaki Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center, is set for Wednesday, Oct. 24, with a free dinner ta 6 p.m. followed by the progrma at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be in the Meskwaki Veterans Convention Center at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel, rural Tama.
