The public is invited to hear guest speaker Jacob Floris talk on the opioid epidemic in America.

The meeting, sponsored by the MeskwakiAlcohol and Drug Abuse Center, is set for Wednesday, Oct. 24, with a free dinner at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be in the Meskwaki Veterans Convention Center at the Meskwkai Bingo Casino Hotel, rural Tama.
