South Tama Homecoming 2018 events continue

he 2018 South Tama Homecoming Court was selected last week by the 2019 Senior Class. Queen candidates includes Queta Diego, Taylor Ray, Taylor Lekin, Jaelin Berger, Katie Cambell and Jessica Musgrave. King candidates include Keith Keahna, Logan Witt, Cael Kellogg, Jackson Beltz, Drake Crawford and Cole Savage. The King and Queen will be crowned at Coronation at the STC High School on Thursday, October 4 following the parade which begins at 6 p.m. Chronicle/Allison Graham

Homecoming week kicked off on Monday, Oct. 1. This year is a special year as STC is celebrating it’s 50th year in the High School. The 2018 Homecoming theme is #50yearsStrong and runs from October 1-6.

The annual parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4 at the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center and travel east on Business 30 then turn onto Broadway and end at the High School. Following the parade is t Coronation. The Homecoming Court will be announced in next week’s Toledo Chronicle.

The Varsity Football game is set for Friday, October 6 at roughly 7:30 p.m. The Trojans will be hosting Knoxville. The week ends with a school dance for High School students on Saturday evening at the STC High School.

Elementary School

Thursday – Crazy hair day

Friday – Trojan colors day

High school students will be at the Elementary school each morning of Homecoming week to great students. Other activities at the Elementary include a performance by the STC Marching Band at the Football Field on Friday morning at 9 a.m. The Elementary will also be having a building parade by grade levels at 2:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

High School
