You are invited to attend a This is Us picnic this Monday night, Sept. 17, to celebrate the diversity in the area.

The picnic is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, at the Toledo City Park on West Ross Street near Toledo Heights..

Meat is provided, bring a dish from your culture to share and drinks. (Toledo park rules prohibit alcohol.)

There will be family fun events and community informational tables.

The picnic is sponsored by Iowa Valley Continuing Education, Meskwaki Nation, Tama-Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Premium, MICA, Tama Co. Conservation, South Tama Community School District, The State Bank of Toledo and Iowa State Extension.
