The Toledo High School class of 1959 held its 59th anniversary reunion at the Meskwaki Casino on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Fifty seven classmates graduated in 1959 and 16 are deceased. The 1959 graduates of Toledo High School held a reunion on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel convention center, with ten classmates attending. The reunion was titled “Class of 59, 59 Years Later.”

The Class of 1959 had 57 members graduating. Since graduation, 13 members of their class have passed away, and the names of those people were read by Lee Christensen before the dinner which was held in one of the Meskwaki convention center rooms. After the dinner, many people stayed and spent time talking and reminiscing.

The reunion committee is grateful to those people who traveled long distances to attend the reunion. Those coming from out of state were Bill Hutchison of San Diego, CA; Jim Cizek of Chesterfield, MO; and Lee Christensen of Pittsburg, KS.
