You just never know what will be taking place at the Toledo Public Library. Here are four young ladies that are learning to make cut out cookies in Bake Lab at the library.

This class is intended to give hands on learning to bake something from scratch from start to finish. The group each used the recipe provided and followed along together measuring and mixing all ingredients.

Then they rolled and cut out their cookies and placed them on parchment covered pans to bake. During the baking and cooling process, the girls followed the frosting recipe and whipped up some very imaginative colors for their frosting.

All the cookies were creatively frosted, decorated and then packaged up by the baking participants. Some cookies were even left for library patrons to enjoy!

In the next Bake Lab we will be making Scones.
