9th annual Toledo Stoplight Festival Friday, July 6

Featured performers include Chad Elliot beginning at 5 p.m. followed by Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at 7 at the 9th annual Toledo Stoplight Festival set for this Friday night, July 6.
Festivities include kids activities including the Toledo Fire Department water fights, the gigantic bounce house, National Guard Climbing Wall, a magician, Wieting Dunk Tank and more.
A total of eight South Tama and Toledo high school classes plan to hold class reunion events at the Stoplight Festival.
The State Historical Society of Iowa’s “Iowa History 101” Mobile Museum, a bright blue, custom-built Winnebago, will visit and offer free tours from 4-8 p.m.
The 1949 stoplight at Broadway and High Street served as the city’s only traffic control device for many years. It remains a unique period fixture downtown.
