Recognizing the cultural diversity of the area, a celebration for community is planned for Monday, March 19, at the South Tama Elementary School in Tama. The program get underway with a potluck meal from 5:30-5:30 p.m.

During the evening a cultural dress fashion show, art displays and face painting are among the family activities planned.

The event was set for earlier but postponed due to winter weather.
