Sexual abuse prevention education for adults will be offered on Tuesday, March 6, in a special program at the Wieting Theatre in Toledo beginning with a light meal at 6 p.m.

The program, Stewards of Children, is taken by parents or caregivers and is also used to train staff and volunteers who work with children in a variety of settings. Free child care is available that evening – contact Tama County Health and Home Care by March 2 by calling 641-484-4788.

The program is geared to provide simple and effective practices to prevent, recognize and react to abuse.
