Jan. 26

2:50 a.m.- Matthew John Williams, 33, Tama, arrested at 350th Street and U.S. Highway 63 on charges of 1st offense drunken driving, eluding, three counts of failure to use headlights when required and failure to obey stop / yield sign by Tama Police. Released at 2:38 p.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of Court.

4 a.m.- Jadranka Tauber, 49, Waterloo, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge of possession of controlled substance and on a warrant by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 9:25 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

7 a.m.- Prince Pape Smith, 27, Des Moines, arrested in the 1800 block of Highway 30, Toledo, on charges of driving while barred, improper use of lanes, vehicle insurance violation and dark windows or windshield by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Feb. 2 after serving time.

4:45 p.m.- Kevin Romain Banks, 48, Nevada, Iowa, arrested in the 200 block of Wets High Street on a charge of 1st degree harassment by Toledo Police. Released at 10:20 p.m. on surety bond.

Jan. 27

2:41 p.m.- John Lee Rogen, 68, Des Moines, arrested in the 2000 block of Highway 30, Toledo, on charges of 1st offense drunken driving and inproper use of lanes by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Jan. 28 at 11:47 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

7:13 p.m.- Monica Fay Aikin, 53, Marshalltown, arrested in the 400 block of Business Highway 30 West on charges of willful injury resulting in bodily injury, assault – displaying dangerous weapon and domestic abuse assault with injury by Toledo Police. Released on Jan. 28 at 3:18 p.m. on surety bvond.

10 a.m.- Derrick Shawyne Bayliff, 46, Mitchellville, Iowa, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and forgery by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 2:05 p.m. on surety bond.

10:30 a.m.- Andres Valdez Montes, 30, Nevada, Iowa, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on a charge opf possession of a controlled substance by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

11 a.m.- Lance Eugene Gibson, 27, Toledo, arrested at UnityPoint Hospital, Marshalltown, on two counts of domestic abuse assault – 3rd or subsequent offense and two counts of willful injury causing bodily injury by Toledo Police.

Juvenile arrested in the 500 block of Maple Street on a charge of 5th degree criminal mischief by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was provided in the Arrest Press Log.

3:30 p.m.- Matthew Ryan Milner, 34, Cedar Rapids, arrested at the Linn County Jail, cedar Rapids, on charges of forgery and 4th degree theft by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Placed on pre-trial release on Jan. 29 at 11:43 a.m.

Jan. 29

1:35 a.m.- Brent Anthony Brown, 27, Hiawatha, Iowa, arrested at U.S. Highway 30 Expressway at 305th Street on charges of possession of a controlled substance, failure ot affix tax stamp, unlawful possession pf prescription drug and driving while license denied or revoked by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released at 5:13 a.m. on surety bond.

10:10 a.m.- Charles Joseph Barfels, 38, Evansdale, Iowa, arrested at the black Hawk County Jail, Waterloo, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

2:50 p.m.- Christian Seth Styles, 38, Toledo arrested at the Polk County Jail, Des Moines, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

4:08 p.m.- Gerald Robert Sanache, 49, rural Tama, arrested in the 100 block of East Carleton Street, Toledo, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 8:50 p.m. on surety bond.
