Sexual abuse prevention education for adults will be offered on Tuesday , March 6, in a special program at the Wieing Theatre in Toledo.

The program, Stewards of Children, is taken by parents or caregivers and is also used to train staff and volunteers who work with children in variety of settings. Free childcare is available that evening and a light meal will be served.

The program is geared to provide simple and effective practices to prevent, recognize and react to abuse.

Child Abuse Prevention and Tama County S.K.I.P.,- Supporting kids in Prevention are co-sponsoring the program.
