Toledo residents and organizations will get a break on most rental fees and everyone using the Reinig-Toledo Civic Center will now have access to the kitchen facilities. City Council members Joe Boll and Steve Vesely making up the committee overseeing civic center operations made the recommendations after meeting with center manager Pat Campbell and City Clerk Kim McAdoo.

The new fee structure was approved on a voice vote of the city council on Monday, Jan. 22.

Toledo city residents, clubs and organizations, South Tama staff in-service and sports banquets and toledo government may now rent, with kitchen included, the Mickelson Room at a cost of $50, the Mickelson and Reinig Rooms at a combined cost of $75 or the Mickelson, Reinig and Springer Rooms comprising the entire facility for $100. A refundable deposit is required for any of the rentals.

Rental fees for all others with the kitchen included are Mickelson and Springer rooms- $125 each and Reinig Room – $175, all with refundable deposits.

The exception is for weddings for all which will cost $400 for the entire facility plus a $400 refundable deposit.

Funeral reception costs are $100 for the entire facility with no deposit required.

The South Tama High School Prom held each year at the center will be charged $200 plus a refundable deposit.
