Tama Mayor Mike Carnahan has declared a Snow Emergency now in affect for Tama, until noon, Tuesday, Feb. 7. A Snow Emergency means streets need to be cleared of vehicles in order for snow plows to clear streets. Vehicles left on streets may be fined or towed.

SNOW ROUTE streets in Tama are:

Harding St. from 5th St. to 13th St.

Park St. from 3rd St. to 13th St.

9th St. from Bus. Hwy. 30 to Washington St.

5th St. from Bus. Hwy. 30 to John St.

Friendly reminder, too, that all walks need to be cleared within 48 hours of snowfall stopping.”
