5:46 a.m.- Pedro Mejia-Perez, 22, Tama, arrested in the 700 block of East 5th Street on a charge of driving without a license by Tama Police. Released at 11:30 a.m. after pleading guilty.

1:23 p.m.- Duuuh Mohamed Hassan, 43, Tama, arrested in the 200 block of West 4th Street on charges of willful injury causing serious injury and assault – display of a dangerous weapon by Tama Police.

Dec. 24

4:22 p.m.- Daniel D. Vinton, 68, Tama, arrested in the 1500 block of State Street on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia by Tama Police. Released on dec. 25 at 4 p.m. after serving time.

7:21 p.m.- Trae Ryan Ford, 24, Eagle Grove, Iowa, arrested in the 3000 block of P Avenue, rural Toledo, on charges of possession of controlled substance and assault causing bodily injury by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

Dec. 25

5:30 a.m.- Josie Breanne Slaubaugh, 24, Wellman, Iowa, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

9:35 a.m.- Nathaniel Dean Lowrey, 31, Toledo, arrested at North Harrison and Grace streets on charges of violation of a no contact / protective order and criminal trespassing by Toledo Police.

3:30 p.m.- Maurice Garrett Shade, 37, Des Moines, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids, on a warrant for failure to appear by Toledo Police. Released on Dec. 26 at 2:35 p.m. after pleading guilty.

7:44 p.m.- Jeymi Rivas-Sarabia, 29, Waterloo, arrested at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Hampton, on charges of failure to sue child restraint device, driving without a license and failure to maintain control of vehicle by the Iowa State Patrol.Released on Dec. 26 at 2:43 p.m. after pleading guilty.
