A family event featuring “The Insect Zoo,” Carly Rae Vannoy, Iowa’s Honey Queen, and hands-on activities including archery, air rifle shooting, making your own apple cider, and a craft station for the kids will be offered this Sunday, Oct. 8, at Otter Creek Lake and Park, five miles northeast of Toledo. The event is family friendly and free.

Also included is a mini-market sandwiches and such favorites including kolaches, scotcheroos, and kettlecorn offered for purchase.
