The Oak Hill Cemetery Association was able to purchase four cherubs to mark the four corners of baby land in the new section of the cemetery thanks to donations from Lee and Shirley Fisher and Marvin Benda. Sexton Rod Anderson installed them, completing the work before Memorial Day. Oak Hill Cemetery was a beautiful sight to all who visited it during Memorial Day weekend.

Some of the association members volunteered and painted the shelter house at the cemetery. The volunteers provided the labor and the city provided the paint. The structure was in serious need of painting. Members who wielded brushes were the following- Donna Smith, Sally Willett, Shirley Franklin, Kim Carter, Anne Michael and Carol Matta. Carol enlisted the help of her husband in completing the painting. In the picture, members are smiling and some are holding paint brushes to signify their work on the shelter house.

Another topic of discussion among members was the possibility of having another cemetery walk in September.
