A special session of the South Tama School Board set for 5:30- p.m. today- Wednesday, May 24 – has authorize and approve the hiring of an interim superintendent as the sole action item on the agenda. The agenda also lists a closed session to discuss superintendent candidates.

The board earlier chose to not renew the current contract of Superintendent Mary Jones which ends on June 30, 2017.
