1:35 a.m.- Kolby James Starits, 23, Waterloo, arrested at the Black Hawk County Jail, Waterloo, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 2:40 p.m. after posting bond with the Clerk of Court.

8:12 p.m.- Jacob M. Hogue, 18, Reinbeck, arrested at Grundy Center on a warranty by Toledo Police.

Dec. 20

12:06 p.m.- Tait Otis Purk, 50, arrested at the United States Penitentiary, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan. on a charge of 1st degree murder and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

8:11 p.m.- Megan Marie Leeper, 28, Tama, arrested in the 500 block of Siegel Street on a charge of 3rd degree theft and on a warrant by Tama Police. Released on Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. on surety bond.

8:17 p.m.- Jason Randall Himschoot, 34, Traer, arrested in the 600 block of North Street, Traer, on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 11 a.m. on Dec. 22 after posting bond with the Clerk of Court.

Dec. 22

5:40 p.m.- Jamison Allyn Wyatt, 22, Marshalltown, arrested at the Linn County Jail, Cedar Rapids ,on warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

7:25 p.m.- Cody Daniel Smith, 26, Tama, arrested in the 200 block of West 3rd, Tama, on a charge of simple domestic abuse assault by Toledo Police and on a warrant by Tama Police. Released on Dec. 23 at 10:19 a.m. on personal recognizance bond

7:35 p.m.- Miranda Marie Brewer, 22, Toledo, arrested in the 200 block of West 3rd, Tama, on a charge of simple domestic abuse assault and on a warrant by Toledo Police. Released on Dec. 23 at 10:30 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

4:49 a.m.- Thomas Jeremy Lopez, 22, Marshalltown, arrested in the 1500 block of 305th Street, rural Tama, on charges og 3rd or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance and a charge of violation of a no contact / protective order by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police.

10:55 a.m.- Robert James Morgan, 28, Tama, arrested in the 100 block of North Main, Toledo on a warrant for violation of terms of probation by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Placed on pre-trial release at 2:45 p.m. on Dec. 29.

Dec. 24

12:17 p.m.p Jason Dwight Drew, 33, Gladbrook, arrested as a parole / probation violator in the 400 block of Grand Street, Gladbrook, by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released on Dec. 30 at 10:06 a.m. after serving jail time.

Dec. 25

2:50 p.m.- Lisa Marie Cox, 38, Marshalltown, arrested in the 100 block of North Main, Toledo, on a warrant for failure to appear by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.

9:53 p.m.- Phillip Scott Lange, 59, Fairfax, Iowa, arrested in the 1500 block of Meskwaki Road, rural Tama, on a charge of disorderly conduct by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police. Released on Dec. 26 at 2:20 p.m. after pleading guilty.

Dec. 28

1:49 a.m.- Molly Jayne Dahms, 41, Gladbrook, arrested in LeGrand on a charge of 4th degree theft and on a warrant by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office. Released at 10:15 a.m. on personal recognizance bond.

2:17 a.m.- Latoya Lanette Lewis, 27, Des Moines, arrested at the Polk county Jail on charges of tampering with records, driving while barred, providing false identification and speeding and at the Ankeny PD on four warrants by the Tama County Sheriff’s Office.
