If that’s not enough, add in having breakfast with Santa, a cookie walk, hear Mrs. Claus read stories, eat a meal, witness the lighting of the Tama County Courthouse Square and more.

Enjoy the magic of the Christmas Season Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 19 and 20, as Tama-Toledo celebrates Home for the Holidays-A Community Christmas Kickoff!

The breakfast with Santa, photos and Kid Friendly cookie Walk is at the Tama-Toledo Country Club from 9 a.m.- noon. Visit the Vendor Fair at the South Tama High School and skating is just east of the Courthouse in Toledo, begining at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Claus will read to kids at the Tama co. Musuem at 1 pm., the movie “Elf” is at the Wieting at 2 p.m., carriage rides start at the courthouse at 2:30 p.m. An evening benefiting the Wieting is at the Toledo Legion and the parade starts at 5:00 p.m. (lineup at 4:30 p.m.) in downtown Toledo.

Sunday the celebration continues with Breakfast and the Annual Cookie Walk at the Country Club from 9AM to Noon. Also the Ice Rink will reopen from 10AM 2PM.
